In a sentence, I am a lifelong learner interested in solving problems and utilizing technology to enable individuals to live a more fulfilling, exciting, and sustainable life.

I primarily specialize in frontend development — both web and mobile development. I enjoy creating any software though and often find myself writing scripts or building tools to automate manual processes.

Outside of work, I try to spend as much of my time outdoors as possible. In addition to technology, I am interested in philosophy, psychology, and finance. As long as I am learning, I am happy where I find myself.

Over the past five years that I have developed software, I have created services, scripts, websites, and mobile applications. Check out some of the projects that I am most proud of below!

DashUI

A lightweight library built using React that provides simple and clean components to easily integrate into any React project. I primarily use these components on personal projects, but they are free for anyone to use. Please see the package's npm page for more information.

React TypeScript CSS3

Dash Designer

A simple site that integrates with my DashUI component library to enable users to develop themes with instant visual feedback. Users are able to see the changes within a preview application that displays commonly used components and graphs as well as sample application views.

React Redux TypeScript CSS3

Python FTP Service

As a class assignment, I created a socket based file transfer protocol (FTP) service. Both the client and the server are developed entirely from scratch and implement commands that enable a user to request files from a server to download to their machine locally. Check out this project on GitHub.

Python Networking Service

Hash Sort

An algorithm that I played around with in an attempt to take advantage of the O(1) time complexity of hashing to derive a method of sorting. For large data sets that are normally distributed, I found that this method of sorting could be more efficient than a simple quick sort algorithm. The code that I wrote can be found on GitHub.
